2013 University of Maine, Hutchinson Ctr, Belfast ME "Exquisiting in the Ordinary".   Two-person faculty show with Kris Engman. selection from "Creature Botaniche" and mixed media work in encaustic.


 


2012   "Creature Botaniche: Piante e Forme Umane Congiunte" (The Botanical Creature: Plant and Human Forms Conjoined) at Castello di Galeazza, Pepoli, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Opening in April, this solo show of prints, luminaires and light columns hangs within the castle residence, in castello's extensive gardens, and in a horse stables modified as an exhibition space. Work ranges from low relief plant collagraphs printed on large body image photography to botanical lanterns to candle lit columns created as part of the ongoing arts and ecology project, Human Tracks: Artful Dialogs with Place. While some prints are mounted on stretched canvas, other prints are fused to sailcloth and grommeted canvas with raw bees wax. Creature Botaniche runs through October 2012. 



  


2011   "Human Tracks: A Barnyard Collaboration among species". An installation at Goddard College in July of ten votive columns mounted on birch stumps. These candle lit luminaires are made with rubbings on kozo of goat-chewed birch trees in our back paddock in Thorndike, Maine. The columns themselves are made of sailcloth and are part of an-going site-based arts and ecology project. 3 of these votive columns were installed again in October in conjunction with the conference Making, Meaning and Context: A Radical Reconsideration of Art’s Work, at College of the Atlantic, and in Crevelcore Italy in spring 2012.

2003 – 2005   "Farms & Friends: Celebrating Rural Life in Waldo County", a touring show of 70 - 100 photographs focusing on 4 early Maine Organic Farms and Gardener farms, Teltane in Monroe, Curra Family in Knox, and Middle Mountain and Fram for the Fat and Aged in Palermo. Exhibitions at Unity Centre for the Performing Arts, Bagel Central in Bangor, College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Belfast Free Library, The Belfast Coop, and resurrected for "Hand in Soil" Maine Farmland Trust in 2010.
